About the Journal

The Journal of Green Economy and Optimization Research (JGEOR) is an international, peer-reviewed, full open-access scholarly journal published by the Green Economy and Optimization Research Lab in Baku, Azerbaijan.

JGEOR promotes interdisciplinary research addressing the economic, environmental, technological, and policy dimensions of sustainable development. The journal welcomes high-quality original research articles, review articles, short communications, perspectives and commentaries, and selected editorials.

The journal's areas of interest include, but are not limited to, green economy, environmental and ecological economics, sustainable development, green finance, circular economy, renewable and sustainable energy, optimization methods, climate change, environmental management, natural resource economics, digital transformation, environmental technologies, remote sensing and geospatial applications, sustainable agriculture, sustainable transport, and related interdisciplinary topics.

All scholarly research submissions undergo initial editorial screening and, where appropriate, double-blind peer review by independent experts.

JGEOR operates as a full open-access journal. Readers may access published content without subscription or registration fees. Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License. Authors retain copyright in their work and grant the journal the right of first publication.

The journal is committed to research integrity, transparency, academic independence, responsible authorship, appropriate disclosure of conflicts of interest, and internationally recognized principles of publication ethics.
