Information For Authors
The Journal of Green Economy and Optimization Research (JGEOR) welcomes original, high-quality scholarly contributions from researchers, academics and practitioners worldwide.
Before submitting a manuscript, authors are encouraged to review the journal’s scope, submission requirements, publication ethics, peer-review procedures and open-access policy. Manuscripts must be prepared in English and should present original scholarly work that has not been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere.

Submission Process
Prepare
Prepare the manuscript in English according to JGEOR author guidelines.
Submit
Upload the manuscript and required metadata through the OJS submission system.
Editorial Screening
The submission is checked for scope, academic quality and compliance with journal requirements.
Peer Review
Eligible manuscripts proceed to scholarly peer review in accordance with JGEOR editorial policies.
Decision
Authors receive an editorial decision and, where applicable, revision requests.
Publication
Accepted manuscripts proceed to production and online open-access publication.
Article Processing Charge
The standard Article Processing Charge (APC) is EUR 50 per accepted manuscript.
A special discounted APC of EUR 20 applies to manuscripts accepted for publication until 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027, the standard APC of EUR 50 will apply.
No payment is required at the time of submission. Publication charges are payable only after formal acceptance of the manuscript.
Open Access & Copyright
JGEOR is a fully Open Access journal. Published articles are freely available online without subscription barriers.
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
Publication Certificate
Authors of published articles receive access to an official Certificate of Publication containing the article title, author information, publication details, DOI information where applicable, a unique certificate identifier and verification information.
Indexing, Metadata & Archiving
JGEOR supports scholarly discoverability through structured metadata, OAI-PMH interoperability, digital archiving and submission of publication metadata to databases and services in which the journal is currently included, subject to the individual policies and technical requirements of each service.
Inclusion of individual articles in third-party databases is governed by the independent policies, eligibility criteria and technical requirements of those services.
Before Submission
- The manuscript is written in English.
- The submission is original and has not been published elsewhere.
- The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
- All authors have approved the manuscript and author order.
- References and citations have been checked carefully.
- Ethical approvals and declarations are included where applicable.
- Figures, tables and supplementary materials are properly identified.
- Author names, affiliations, email addresses and ORCID identifiers are accurate.
