Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

The Journal of Green Economy and Optimization Research (JGEOR) is committed to maintaining integrity, transparency, fairness, and ethical standards throughout the scholarly publishing process.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are original, accurate, and have not been published previously or submitted simultaneously to another journal.

Authors are expected to:

• accurately present research methods, data, results, and conclusions;
• appropriately acknowledge and cite the work of others;
• identify all individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions as authors;
• disclose relevant conflicts of interest;
• disclose relevant sources of research funding;
• obtain necessary ethical approval for research involving human participants, animals, or other regulated research where applicable;
• cooperate with editors when corrections or clarifications are required.

Authorship

Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis, interpretation, or preparation of the research.

Guest, honorary, and ghost authorship are not acceptable.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors evaluate manuscripts on the basis of scholarly merit, relevance, originality, methodological quality, and ethical compliance.

Editorial decisions must not be influenced by an author's nationality, institutional affiliation, gender, religion, political views, or other irrelevant personal characteristics.

Editors must maintain confidentiality and disclose potential conflicts of interest.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

• provide objective, constructive, and scholarly evaluations;
• maintain confidentiality;
• avoid using unpublished information for personal advantage;
• disclose conflicts of interest;
• notify editors when they identify potential plagiarism, duplicate publication, or significant ethical concerns.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, professional, or other interests that could reasonably be perceived as influencing their work or decisions.

Research Integrity

Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, citation manipulation, inappropriate image manipulation, duplicate publication, and other forms of research misconduct are prohibited.

Corrections and Retractions

Where significant errors or misconduct are identified after publication, JGEOR may publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as appropriate.

Complaints and Appeals

Authors may contact the journal regarding editorial complaints or appeals. Such matters will be evaluated fairly and, where appropriate, by an editor who was not directly involved in the original decision.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently on the basis of scholarly and ethical considerations and are not determined by commercial or personal interests.

Submissions from Editors and Editorial Board Members
Manuscripts submitted by the Editor-in-Chief, editors, or members of the Editorial Board are subject to the same editorial and peer-review standards as all other submissions. The author concerned will have no involvement in the editorial handling, selection of reviewers, peer-review process, or final decision concerning the manuscript. Such submissions will be assigned to an independent editor with no relevant conflict of interest and will undergo independent double-blind peer review. Editorial Board membership does not guarantee acceptance or preferential treatment.
