Peer Review Process

The Journal of Green Economy and Optimization Research (JGEOR) applies a double-blind peer review process to research and review articles submitted to the journal.

Under the double-blind review model, the identities of authors are not disclosed to reviewers, and the identities of reviewers are not disclosed to authors.

Initial Editorial Assessment

All submitted manuscripts are initially evaluated by the editorial team to determine whether they:

• fall within the aims and scope of the journal;
• meet the journal's basic scholarly and formatting requirements;
• demonstrate sufficient originality and academic relevance;
• comply with ethical and publication standards.

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be rejected before external peer review.

External Peer Review

Manuscripts considered suitable for further evaluation are normally sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.

Reviewers are asked to assess the manuscript according to criteria including:

• originality and significance of the research;
• methodological appropriateness and transparency;
• quality and reliability of data and analysis;
• clarity of presentation;
• relevance of the literature;
• validity of conclusions;
• contribution to the field;
• compliance with research and publication ethics.

Editorial Decision

Following peer review, the editorial decision may be:

• Accept
• Accept with minor revisions
• Major revisions required
• Resubmit for review
• Reject

Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers when additional expert assessment is necessary.

Editorial Independence

Final decisions regarding publication are made by the Editor-in-Chief or an authorized editor based on the scholarly quality of the manuscript, peer-review reports, ethical considerations, and relevance to the journal.

Editors and reviewers are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest and maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

JGEOR aims to conduct the editorial and peer-review process efficiently while maintaining scholarly quality. Review times may vary depending on the subject area, availability of qualified reviewers, and the extent of revisions required.
