Call for Papers: Soil Resilience - JGEOR Volume 1, No. 5

2026-10-21

The Journal of Green Economy and Optimization Research (JGEOR) is accepting manuscripts for Volume 1, No. 5, scheduled for publication on 1 December 2026.

The issue will be published under the theme “Soil Resilience” and will focus on the relationships between soil health, degradation, pollution, remediation, sustainable land management and resilient ecosystems and economies.

Healthy soils provide essential ecosystem functions, support agricultural productivity, store carbon, regulate water and contribute directly to biodiversity and sustainable development. However, increasing pressures from erosion, contamination, intensive land use and environmental degradation make soil protection and restoration an important area of interdisciplinary research. The issue welcomes original research articles and review papers addressing topics including soil health and fertility, soil carbon, land degradation, erosion, soil contamination, pollution, remediation, ecological restoration, sustainable land management, ecosystem functions, resource efficiency and the economic and policy dimensions of soil protection. The December issue also marks World Soil Day, emphasizing the importance of scientific evidence and effective management approaches in protecting and restoring soil resources.
