In the modern era, global digitalization, technological innovations and the development of the knowledge economy create new requirements for the higher education system. In these conditions, universities should act not only as educational institutions where theoretical knowledge is transferred, but also as centers where knowledge and innovations are created, applied and commercialized. Technoparks are of strategic importance in this process as an important institutional mechanism that allows establishing relations between higher education, scientific research, entrepreneurship and industry. The study examines the role of technoparks in the development of the modern education system, strengthening university-science-industry cooperation, developing students' practical skills and commercializing innovative ideas.
The results of the study show that the expansion of technoparks in universities creates conditions for the involvement of students in real projects, support of startup initiatives, practical application of scientific research results and the formation of human capital in accordance with the requirements of the labor market. At the same time, technoparks contribute to the expansion of investment opportunities, acceleration of technology transfer and the development of regional innovation ecosystems. For Azerbaijan, this model is of particular importance in terms of the development of the digital and green economy, increasing the innovation potential and accelerating the transition to the knowledge economy.
